Mark Hendry Column: Coming Back to a Celtic I Barely Recognise
After a month away, Mark Hendry returns to a club in freefall, a manager out of his depth and a reality at Celtic where performances mean nothing without wins.
I took a hiatus from this column in December, with my son buzzing for his first Christmas.
Santa and his reindeer came first for me, ahead of Paul Tisdale, Michael Nicholson, and Dermot Desmond.
Naively, I figured the first 11 months had already served up the chaos and nonsense, and that I’d return to a more traditional Celtic. Back to winning ways, back on top of the Premiership.
I should’ve known better.
