Mark Hendry: This Celtic Team Looks Like It’s Given Up
A passive performance, a fractured squad and a boardroom that gambled too much.
I’m no body language expert but it certainly didn’t take an eagle eye to see Celtic’s withdrawal at 2-0 down on Sunday afternoon.
When Emmanuel Agyei’s strike found the back of the net, there was a noticeable shift.
The team in green and white on the choppy Tannadice pitch looked beaten. Any shred of positivity or creativity was gone. And when the only real inventiveness up until that point was a forward pass or two with little to no penetration, it set alarm bells ringing.
